To our families:

The safety of our kids and families is our top priority.  Over the last several weeks we have continued to monitor the situation with Covid-19 in our area.  We have been hopeful that things would improve to the point that we could safely offer tackle football and cheer this fall.  Tuesday night the board met and voted that it is in the best interest of our players and families to cancel the Fall season.  This is not the outcome that we wanted, but we feel it is the best for our community.

We will be working with the Mooresville Recreation Department to provide refunds to all families that have registered.  Please be patient as it may take some time to complete the processing of the refunds.

As we look to the future, we are still hopeful that the situation will improve in September and October to the point where we can get on the field and offer clinics.  We will be monitoring the NCHSAA guidelines and the State recommendations for safety.  As soon as it is safe for us to offer activities, we’ll communicate the plans to you.  We recognize how important it is for our kids to be physically active, as well as the importance of being part of community activities, so we’ll offer as much as we safely can provide.

In the NIYAA conference announcement, they mentioned that they will be considering playing tackle football in the Spring.  We will continue to work with NIYAA and when we have updates for future plans, we’ll communicate those to you.

Thank you all for your patience as we’ve worked through the options over the last several months.  We hope to see you on the fields again very soon.
